Background

Yvonne Gandy created YMG Education in 1999. Passionate about education and its relevance to young people’s learning she focuses her work in ensuring training programmes and training delivery is of the highest quality for staff working in our schools and early years settings. She currently leads a number of projects across the country and these include middle leadership, monitoring & evaluative research, strategic policy development; quality assurance, authoring teacher support materials and early years. Her successful track record as a teacher, senior manager, advisor and independent consultant has involved her working with staff across all education phases and organisations that include NCSL, HTI, SST, Ofsted, BAALPE, PEAUK, YST, Sport England, F.A., Sure Start and Local Authorities.

The company is growing and now has an administration and training development manager Laurence Maisonneuve who was recruited in 2002. Laurence is currently leading the future expansion of physical development training for early years staff and the contracting of quality trainers for delivery across the country.
